As a composer, Sarah has written many choral pieces including a number of Christmas carols that have been published by Recital Music. In 2015, You do not fall, was performed by Kingston University Chamber Choir and The Way through the Woods was performed by Barnes Community Choir as part of Barnes Music Festival.

 

Instrumental compositions include Suburban Foxes, which was broadcast in the UK and on US radio in 2012 as part of the Vox Novus 60x60 Radio Request Extravaganza. Another Door Opens reached number 5 in the Broadjam Latin American Top 10 Chart and Worthwhile, a piece for solo piano, was a semi finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest in 2013.

As a performer, Sarah has sung in many choirs, and also as a solo artist, with several tracks being broadcast on Women of Substance Radio. More recently, Sarah provided backing vocals and trumpet parts on Barbie Benson's albums. 

 

Alongside a passion for music theory, Sarah also loves to study music and completed an MA in Music in 2011 and an MMus in Composing for Film and TV in 2015. Current projects include more choral music and a commission for a piece for double bass. Sarah is also part of the Barnes Music Festival team and in the past has held roles at the ABRSM and ISM.
